Wow! What a jammed
packed letter. One could spend a year
preaching from this text. It is so rich;
however that is not the task at hand.
This is a 10,000 foot fly-over of this fantastic letter to
the first congregation that Paul established don the continent of Europe. If you are part of a healthy congregation
that contends with only the occasional squabble, this short epistle will seem
like it was addressed to you and your congregation.
As you fly through Philippians, realize that you are truly
free to be the people that God wants you to be.
He has done it! All we need do is
take hold of that which we have already obtained in the blood of Christ Jesus.
